To begin sending text messages to your staff, suppliers or customers, sign up now for a Clickatell account. There is no sign-up fee and our mobile message-enabling products are easy to use. You only pay for the text messages that you send. Clickatell uses a credit-based system for sending and receiving text messages. Our prices are extremely competitive and we offer bulk discounts - so the more credits you purchase the cheaper the cost of each SMS text message.

Register for a developer API account for easy system integration, or a web-based application, Communicator 2, for immediate send capabilities without any programming required. Clickatell Developer API - "Allows integration to all kinds of front-end and legacy systems via a range of simple, flexible Application Programming Interface (API) connections. SMS-enable any application, website or system to deliver and receive messages to and from any application, via Clickatell's global operator coverage. " Clickatell Communicator 2 - " A web-based application that lets you send individual or bulk SMS messages via Clickatell's global operator coverage, direct from your web browser with a free two-way messaging option. Reply messages are sent direct to Communicator 2 account inbox. "

Clickatell uses a credit based system for sending messages. 1 credit will generally = 1 message, however some destinations may charge less than 1 credit and some may charge 2 or more credits per message. This is dependent on the network operators in the particular region.
